Trendz at Nails Are Us began as a small idea in a basement by friends Shanie Lane and Lisa Ravensbergen. Together we put our extensive knowledge and experience of nails, and our passion for making women feel beautiful together to form Nails Are Us. It soon became apparent that we needed more space so we opened up our little shop in Smithville. We added an esthetician to our staff to expand our service menu to include massage, facials, body wraps, and eyelash extentions. After a few years we realized that our dream that started small, would not be complete until we could offer every service we possibly could to our clients. This meant that we would have to add hairstyling to our menu. Fortunately, there was larger space available across the street so in April 2010 we moved in to our spacious salon at 131 Griffin Street. Along with our move we welcomed three hairstylists to our team and called ourselves Trendz!

  We will never stop dreaming, we know how important self-esteem is for women today! We are proud to do everything we can to pamper and build self-esteem in you, so that when you leave our salon, we hope your step will be a little lighter, your smile will be a bit wider, and everyone will see that you are beautiful!
